Under the artistic direction of John Metz, the festival consists of concerts in various Southeastern Connecticut venues using antique original instruments and replicas. The festival this year runs from June 9 through 25. Shows begin at 8 pm, except as noted. Tickets $20, $26 for reserved seating.

JUNE 9 at St. John's Church in Niantic, organist Guy Whatley performs four fantasias from three centuries
JUNE 11 at 6 pm in Harkness Chapel at Connecticut College, a vocal program called Monteverdi's Mantua with a 5 pm pre-concert lecture in Blaustein Hall
JUNE 17 in Evans Hall at Connecticut College, music group Hesperus provides a live soundtrack to the 1922 silent film Robin Hood
JUNE 18 at 6 pm in Evans Hall at Connecticut College, New York Baroque Dance and Concert Royal Celebrate Mozart, with 5 pm pre-concert lecture
JUNE 23 at Mystic Arts Center in Mystic, Le Roi Soleil in Private
JUNE 24 in Evans Hall at Connecticut College, the Renaissance ensemble Piffaro performs Iberica Resplendens: Music from the Great Cathedral Collections of Spain and Portugal
JUNE 25 at 6 pm in Evans Hall at Connecticut College, the chorus Fuma Sacra conducted by Andrew Megill performs JS Bach's Cantatas and Brandenburg concerti No 1 & 6, with a 5 pm pre-concert lecture

The oldest-continuing summer chamber music festival in the country is in its 77th season. Chamber-music concerts run through Sept 3. Sunday concerts are at 3 pm, with Saturday concerts at 6:30 pm. Choral concerts every Fri at 8 pm from June 16 through 28. Tickets $25, $22 in advance, $12 for students, except as noted.

June 21 through Aug 16, chamber-music concerts are held on Wed at 6 pm at Trinity College Chapel. All concerts are followed by a carillon concert and picnic on the quad at 7 pm. Both are free.
