Adirondack-styled 300-seat opera house built in 1936 that presents more than 40 productions, from bluegrass to Broadway plays, classical music to comedians, during a season that runs from late June through early Sept. Kneisel Hall, on the southern slope of Blue Hill Mountain and near Acadia National Park, is a 20-acre school that calls itself the cradle of chamber-music teaching in America. The series, directed by Seymour Lipkin, runs from June 24 through Aug 27. Concerts are on Fri at 7:30 pm and on Sun at 4 pm, except as noted. Tickets $20 to $30. Unreserved tent tickets are $10.
