Monadnock Music celebrates its 40th anniversary season from July 13 through Aug 20. Events in the summer series range from recitals by acclaimed artists to orchestra concerts and concert opera. Performances on Sun are at 4 pm, and all others are at 8 pm, except as noted. Tickets for weekend performances are $18 to $32. Weekday performances are free. All performances are at the Peterborough Town House, except as noted.

The Classics Concert Series takes place on Thurs and Fri at 8 pm from July 13 to Aug 18 at the Silver Center for the Arts, Plymouth State College, Plymouth. Tickets are $20 to $65, half-off for students and children. Chamber-music concerts are held on Tues at 8 pm from July 11 through Aug 15 at the same venue. Tickets $18.

Enjoy classical music in the gardens of sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens. Concerts are on Sun at 2 pm in the Little Studio. Admission to concerts is included in park admission. Admission to the park is $5 for adults, free for children 15 and under.
