David Kim directs this annual summer festival at the University of Rhode Island. Concerts begin at 8 pm. Tickets are $15. Some performances are followed by post-concert talks.

JULY 11 works by Poulenc, Coleman, and Vivaldi, featuring the Imani Winds Quintet
JULY 13 works by Tchaikovsky, Schubert, Piazzola, del Aguila, and Coleman, featuring the Imani Winds Quintet
JULY 15 Zimbalist's Sarasateana Suite of Spanish Dances, Paganini's Guitar Quartet No 15, and Shostakovich's Piano Trio in E-Minor, Op 67
JULY 17 an all-Mozart program
JULY 19 the world premiere of Meyer's My Zayda (My Grandfather), as well as Brahms's String Sextet No 1 in B-Flat, Op 18, and Musorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition
JULY 21 Program includes Hummel's Piano Quintet, Op 87, and Enescu's Octet in C for two string quartets, Op 7

Now in its 38th year, this festival encompasses 67 concerts in and around the Newport mansions, with a crowd of international artists participating from July 3 through 23. Three to five concerts take place each day. Some highlights are listed below. The capacity of all concert venues is limited, so early reservations are recommended. Tickets are $25 to $50.
