Originally a performance outlet for advanced students of the Cantarella School of Dance, this venue has come a long way from its early years. Take Exit 2 off the Mass Pike to Rte 20. The Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival features a wide variety of performances between its two venues: the Ted Shawn Theatre, and the Doris Duke Studio Theatre. Regular pre-show and post-show lectures are free along with several other performances, discussions, and exhibits. Call or visit the Web site to purchase tickets. All shows at the Ted Shawn Theatre begin at 8 pm Wed through Sun, with a 2 pm matinee performance on Sat and Sun. $45 to $50 unless otherwise noted. All shows at the Doris Duke Studio Theatre begin at 8:15 pm Thurs through Sat, with a 2:15 pm matinee performance on Sat and a 5 pm show on Sun. $21 to $24 unless otherwise noted.
