This rustic-music festival runs from Aug 3 through 6, showcasing local, regional, and national bluegrass acts. Gates open on Thurs at 5 pm, on Fri and Sun at 9 am, and on Sat at 10 am. The 27th annual festival takes place June 8 through 11. International performing artists sing, strum, and tell stories that center around a maritume theme. Late-night pub sings, symposiums, workshops, and demonstrations fill out the four-day event. Thurs tickets $12 in advance, $15 at the door. For all other days, tickets $23 in advance, $26 at the door. Four-day pass $70, $60 for three-day weekend pass. Half-price for kids six through 12, free for kids under six.

The festival runs from June 1 through 4 and features more than 15 musical acts, including Rhonda Vincent, the Grascals, Peter Rowan, Mountain Heart, the Kruger Brothers, the Bluegrass Gospel Project, and Tim O'Brien. Strawberry Park presents its first-ever Folk Music Festival, which features acts such as Eddie from Ohio, Richie Havens, Asleep at the Wheel, and Janis Ian, among others. The festival features the Hartford Symphony Orchestra and takes place from June 30 through July 21. Concerts are at 7:30 pm, grounds open at 6 pm for picnicking.
