The largest free folk festival in the nation, this year held July 28, 29, and 30. From New Orleans brass band to Mexican mariachi, from rockabilly to Indian raga, this festival has something for everyone. Savor the taste of ethnic food from around the world and watch master craftsmen at work. Open on Fri from 7 to 10 pm and on Sat and Sun from noon to 10 pm. Located on six stages all around Lowell. The Lowell National Historic Park, the University of Massachusetts Lowell, and the Lowell Festival Foundation present the 16th season of the Lowell Summer Music Series at Boarding House Park.
