The museum houses the Bennington Flag, thought to be the oldest stars-and-stripes in existence, the world's largest public collection of Grandma Moses paintings and memorabilia, American paintings and sculpture, and an array of American glass from the 19th and early-20th centuries. Open daily from 10 am to 5 pm. Closed on Wed.. Admission $8, $7 for seniors and students, free for children under 12.

Housed in the Elizabeth de C. Wilson Museum, situated on the slope of Mount Equinox, the Arts Center's permanent collection of more than 800 pieces includes works by Luigi Lucioni, Ogden Pleissner, Grandma Moses, Reginald Marsh, and George Innes. The Sculpture Garden will be open through Oct 28. Open Tues through Sat from 10 am to 5 pm, and on Sun from noon to 5 pm. Admission $8, $3 for students, free for children under 13.

The world's largest marble exhibit features a sculptor-in-residence, marble jewelry for sale, a geology exhibit, marble samples from around the world, a marble relief of American presidents, and a 160-foot mural depicting the earth's composition and geologic history. Open daily from 9 am to 5:30 pm. Admission $7, $5 for seniors, $4 for children 13 through 18, free for children under 13.
