Take Exit 2 off the Mass Pike to Rte 20. The Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival features a wide variety of performances between its two venues: the Ted Shawn Theatre and the Doris Duke Studio Theatre. Summer season runs from June 20 to Aug 26. Regular pre-show and post-show lectures are free along with several other performances, discussions, and exhibits. Call or visit the Web site to purchase tickets. All shows at the Ted Shawn Theatre begin at 8 pm Wed through Sun, with 2 pm matinee performances on Sat and Sun.. Tickets $45 to $58. All shows at the Doris Duke Studio Theatre begin at 8:15 pm Thurs through Sat, with a 2:15 pm matinee performance on Sat and a 5 pm show on Sun.. Tickets $28. $10 youth tickets available for some matinees.

Take Rte 2 off I-95 to get to the Summer Stages Dance Studio, located in the Dance Performance Studio of Concord Academy. Summer Stages is a facility for students and choreographers alike. Lessons, performances, lectures, and workshops offered from July 8 through 28. Free choreographic rehearsal or discussion before shows. All performances begin at 8 pm.
