Exit 13 off the Mass Pike. This small arts center has a 90-seat performance center. Its casual setting lends itself easily to folk, jazz, and country performances. This summer, the Berklee School of Music has arranged for a number of free concert series around the Boston area. The Tito Puente Latin Music Series is held in O'Day Park, by the Jorge Hernandez Cultural Center, 85 West Newton, in Boston's South End. Shows starts at 7 pm. Jazz at the Fort is performed at Highland Park, Fort Ave, in Roxbury's Fort Hill neighborhood. Show starts at 5 pm. Swingin' in Mother's Rest shows are at Mother's Rest Playground, down the stairs from the Boylston Street Bridge in the Back Bay Fens, corner of Boylston Street and the Fenway. Show starts at 6:30 pm. The Kendall Square Concert Series is at 300 Athanaeum Street in Cambridge. Shows start at 12 pm. Harborwalk Sounds: Berklee at the ICA is outside the Institute of Contemporary Art, at 100 Northern Avenue in Boston. Shows are at 6 pm.

For six weeks each summer, the EcoTarium science museum becomes a jazz venue and hosts some of the most lively jazz concerts in Worcester. Concerts are on Fri from 6:30 to 8:30 pm at the museum's Sundial Plaza, weather permitting. Gates open at 5 pm. Admission is $18, free for children 12 and under. BYO lawn chairs and blankets for outdoor seating. Snacks available.
