Among the 50,000 pieces in the permanent collection are Mediterranean antiquities, Renaissance and Baroque masterpieces, European paintings from the 16th and 17th centuries, and American decorative arts. Admission $10 adults, $8 seniors, $5 students, free for children 12 and under. The Aetna Theater hosts lectures, live music, and dance performances, with food and cocktails.Open Wed through Fri from 11 am to 5 pm, and Sat and Sun from 10 am to 5pm. On the first Thurs of the month hours are extended to 8 pm and admission is free for all.
