Congratulations, JAM’N 94.5 — you finally made the pages of the Phoenix (On&On and Akrobatik don’t count since we were down with them before you). It turns out that your morning-show DJ (and butt of all your curry-flavored jokes) has some serious club cred, and his fans let us know it. DJ PUP DAWG scratches like an itchy bitch in heat (or, actually, not at all), but his mix tapes are regarded as manna from hip-hop heaven. Much respect; if getting clowned on by Ramiro and Pebbles hasn’t gotten him some nookie from those cancer-tanned North Shore–nightclub chicks yet, then we hope this alt-weekly blurb does the trick.
