Best Distraction From The Drone (And Smell) Of Your Daily Commute

Guerilla break dancers

Perhaps you've found yourself nodding off on the T (while it's "standing by" for the billionth fricking time, due to a disabled train, or inclement weather, or the fact that the train operator is too busy texting his friends to be bothered), only to find yourself jolted awake by a sudden swell of hip-hop beats, as two men wearing matching shirts begin to break dance. That first back flip is of the ultimate "holy shit" variety, and though this is a much more bizarre commuter distraction than Sudoku, it's also much more entertaining. There's no knowing when and where these GUERRILLA BREAK DANCERS will show up — the MBTA's Subway Performers Policy prohibits artists from busking on trains — but when they do, enjoy. Also, try not to get kicked in the face.
