Best Coffee Shop — Local

Diesel Café

DIESEL CAFÉ takes first prize again this year for serving hot coffee in hip digs. Garage-themed décor aside, this place has a cup of joe that jump-starts even the laziest of engines. Despite the café’s ample space, tables are extremely hard to come by all weekend and even during the morning rush — a nod to Diesel’s great brews, stellar chai tea, and one hell of a bakery selection. Inexplicably, there are usually loads of laptop-toting patrons taking advantage of the WiFi when most of us are braving the morning commute. This could, of course, be a side effect of an economic shitstorm where the jobs are now few while caffeine addictions remain in full swing.
