Upper Crust

With a name like UPPER CRUST, it’s no surprise that this locally based chain specializes in not-so-cheap gourmet pies. This pizzeria, with more than a dozen locations around Massachusetts and two more slated to open in West Roxbury and Fenway this spring, is a frequent favorite with spots carved out on just about every “best” list there is. Stick to the traditional Margherita (cheese and chunky red sauce) or opt for an outlandish combo of bacon, pineapple, and hot jalapeños. Either way, these are big, thin-crust slices of heaven.
