This shrine of vice in the North End is perhaps the best place in the city to drink and smoke indoors without being bothered. With a selection of premium cigars, a great Scotch and cognac list, sports on TV, and an attractive all-female staff (a/k/a the "Stanza Girls"), Stanza is the standout among the Boston cigar bars — the one that most acutely realizes its potential. A speakeasy in the '20s, the rooms are all reds and browns, with a quiet sense of the forbidden. It's legal, but, like all such things, it won't be forever.
