Best Place To Get Close With Old Ladies

Busy Bee Diner

On weekdays, especially in the morning, the venerable BUSY BEE DINER ("A Snack or a Meal") is filled with local proletariat, but on Saturdays and Sundays, construction workers and electricians give way to an out-the-door line of college students looking to nurse their hangovers with sausages and blueberry pancakes. The servings are composed of good ol' Americana, and breakfast food is on the menu all day long. But the real reason to go is that every meal is served up with a free time warp. Think: complicated waitresses as old as the Busy Bee's '50s aquamarine décor, who call you "honey" and "sweetie" no matter your age, but belittle you if you take too long to order.
