Best Restaurant — French

Petit Robert Bistro

090415_Petit_m
According to your votes, PETIT ROBERT BISTRO again trumps those highfalutin and high-priced French restaurants where portions are teeny-tiny and the atmosphere often stodgy. This little restaurant’s three locations (two in Boston, one in the ’burbs) all serve hearty, rustic dishes that are immaculately executed and fairly priced. The menu lists simply grilled salmon (safe) and frogs’ legs Provencale (adventurous), not to mention a sinful chocolate mousse for dessert. It’s French food sans pretense. C’est magnifique!
