Best Restaurant — Mexican

Olé Mexican Grille

There’s more to Mexican food than burritos and salsa verde. Phoenix Best Readers’ Poll voters stepped up their epicurean game since last year, it seems, and voted OLÉ MEXICAN GRILL the best of los restaurantes. A classy Mexican cafeteria of sorts, Olé dishes out melt-in-your-mouth ceviche, beautifully plated pan-seared wild sea bass, plus tantalizing tapas at prices that seem high compared with those at, say, your neighborhood Chipotle, but are more than fair considering the high-quality cuisine and atmosphere. And like any Mexican restaurant worth its margarita salt, Olé has an impressive cache of tequilas for when you want to take your meal from lovely to loco.
