Best Restaurant — Vietnamese

Pho Pasteur

When it comes to Vietnamese food, it’s soup pho you. PHO PASTEUR is a haven of noodle-y goodness where the broth is steaming and the prices won’t ransack your wallet. Here, an appetizer and two large orders of pho runs you a recession-friendly $20 or so. And don’t overlook the other Vietnamese staples, like goi tom, a yummy cabbage salad featuring poached shrimp, mint, and basil. Located in Chinatown, this little family-owned restaurant has been garnering dining awards since the early ’90s.
