Minuteman Bikeway

It takes a good kick in the butt for us city dwellers to trek out to the sticks. The MINUTEMAN BIKEWAY, which stretches a deliciously pastoral 11 miles from Cambridge to Bedford, is a whole can of whoopass. Pick up the trail by the Alewife T stop and follow it all the way into the heart of cookie-cutter suburbia. Pack some trail mix, and be sure to dodge any oncoming yuppies, Armstrong wannabes, kids with training wheels, and especially colonial-looking guys with muskets.
