Dyke Night events

It was touch and go there for a while after news leaked that the most lauded lesbian dance party in the Hub lost its home (previous base Toast Lounge in Somerville went resto-lounge last year). But DYKE NIGHT is back and, at the risk of sounding cheesy, it really is better than ever. This fall, founder Kristen Porter (doyenne of dyke nightlife) started Second Saturdays at Machine. Come spring, Fourth Fridays will launch at the new Milky Way in JP. If getting saucy on the dance floor isn’t enough to get you to the much-hyped gatherings, chew on this: a quarter of all proceeds raised at these parties go to GLBT causes.
