Best Public Space To Toke

The Berkeley Community Garden

Anyone who's lived among immigrants knows that — for obvious reasons — they're not always eager to call the po-po and tattletale. For that reason and so many others, the mostly Asian-operated BERKELEY COMMUNITY GARDEN in the South End is Boston's premier spot to roll and burn a spliff. Stretching from Tremont Street to Shawmut Avenue, the path is the ideal length to choke through an entire joint if walking at stoner speed. Just remember: it's no longer criminal to carry less than an ounce, but burn at your own risk. And don't go biting into the neighborhood gardens if you get the munchies.
