Material Objects

It's nearly impossible to walk out the door of Material Objects without something, whether a check for clothes consigned, or a bag of newly scored duds. With such a wide range of reasonably priced skirts, pants, shoes, and bags, this Congress Street clothing store (which sells some new stuff, too) is full of items that quickly become your closet staples — probably because until recently, they were someone else's. Most of the selection is relatively modern, but the racks of older garments toward the back are a treasure trove of both Halloween costumes and quirky one-of-a-kinds.
