The tidal basin that is not called Back Bay (that’s a couple hours south) is surrounded by a 3.5-mile trail, a great distance for a short run, or double up for a longer workout. Family-friendly, dog-friendly, with only a modicum of bikes, and devoid of cars, it’s a perfect spot to stretch your legs.
