Because we’re lazy and rarely leave our couches/desks/beds with our laptops, we decided it was time to go down to the main branch of the BOSTON PUBLIC LIBRARY and see for ourselves what all the hype is about. We point to our laptops and ask a guard if we can study somewhere. He looks up with a shit-eating grin. “Oh, we got wireless all over this place,” he says. May we recommend taking a seat at one of the tables in Bates Hall? With green lamps overhead and marble floors beneath, you may not get much work done, but you’ll look damn scholarly trying.
