On the upside, maybe now they can cover that Konks song "29 Fingers" (uh, 39 fingers? 49?). Which, in hindsight, makes Brett's article pretty creepily prophetic.

    Mumbles proclaimed it U2 day in Boston. We're still trying to figure out how that makes today different from every other day. You'd think they were Dropkick Murphys or something, the way people suddenly turn Irish for these dudes.

    Just to be on the safe side -- not like tickets weren't sold out like ten years ago -- the opening band is holding off on putting their Avalon show on-sale until after the circus has left town.
