[bmp video] Bodega Girls with Cosmo of Dom + Amanda Palmer + Buffalo Tom's Bill Janovitz
Yes, the word "epic" is grossly overused and has lost any and all of its merit. But there's just no other way to describe this nearly-15-minute clip from Wednesday's BEST MUSIC POLL party at Brighton Music Hall. (Plus it's Friday, two days later, and my brain is fried).
During BODEGA GIRLS' second "interlude set," they were joined by COSMO and BOBBY of DOM and performed Dom's "Living In America," followed by AMANDA PALMER for a cover of her "Map of Tasmania," and then, lastly, by BILL JANOVITZ, when the ensemble busted out a lost BUFFALO TOM b-side, "Does This Mean You're Not My Friend." All in one set. For fuck's sake.
Add in some "Happy Birthday" serenade action for Cosmo, as well as some appropriate cake tossing, and this is one motherfucker of a clip. Thanks to Mick Murray for capturing the madness.
