"Algonquin Free Beer Literary Tour"
This event occurs in the past,
June 16 2011
279 Harvard St, Brookline, MA
(view map)
Writing and drinking have historically gone hand-in-hand. Poe, Hemingway, Faulkner, Kerouac: some of the world’s most influential authors were also notorious drunks. Which is why tonight’s Algonquin Books Free Beer Tour is so apropo. The 21-plus literary tour brings dude-approved authors Josh Wilker, David Anthony, and Pete Nelson to Brookline Booksmith, where their readings will be paired with “complementing” ales. (There will be food on hand as well, to ensure nobody gets too sauced to enjoy the lit.)
With Josh Wilker, David Anthony, and Pete Nelson
