"Bike-In Movie Screening"
The charms of the drive-in movie theater include reclining seats and the opportunity to engage in some mid-movie nookie without the risk of getting popcorn thrown at you by your fellow moviegoers. Neither of these will be possible at tonight’s Bike-In Movie Screening at the Papercut Zine Library, but we’re pretty sure the novelty (plus the money you’ll save on gas) will make up for it. Retro film and bicycle enthusiasts (read: half the hipster population of Allston) will be stoked at the opportunity to take their classic Schwinn Cruisers out to the movies for a screening of Over the Edge (1979), the cult film that launched Matt Dillon’s career and boasts a killer soundtrack. Pedal over early for a pre-screening picnic — and don’t forget to silence your bike horn.
