Jonathan Richman + Tommy Larkins
This event occurs in the past,
March 3
55 Davis Square, Somerville, MA
(view map)
Singer/songwriter/humorist Jonathan Richman earned that third distinction by playing the dude who keeps popping up with a guitar to set Ben Stiller’s humiliation to music in There’s Something About Mary. Yeah, that guy! But Richman is a talented — and widely beloved — musician (and geek icon) in his own right. The founder of the short-lived ’70s proto-punk band the Modern Lovers is joined by drummer Tommy Larkins.
