sunglasses2) RELAX — BY THE RUNWAY
We don’t fuck with the classics. It’s true that the Boston beaches easily reached by T aren’t exactly resort-like. Still, that’s no reason to deny your unprotected skin the irreversible damage of UV rays and an afternoon of catcalling. Posh beach bums may tout the slightly upscale amenities of Singing Beach in Manchester-by-the-Sea. But after extensive polling and research, our favorite sandy gem is, by a landslide victory, Constitution Beach in East Boston (bostonharborwalk.com), accessible by the Orient Heights stop on the Blue Line. And as you’ve taken public transport to get there, you can bask away with smug satisfaction as you breathe in the fume-heavy carbon footprints of the panda murderers taxiing down that Logan Airport runway.
