Great gear to spice up any ski trip, whether in your back yard — or the Middle East
Snow finds
You can’t turn around these days and not hear of someone from the one percent telling a 99-percenter to go take a shower and get a job. And as much as we take sides on the matter, today we’re putting aside our differences (more or less) to present both factions a quick gift guide for the 2011-’12 ski season.

Everybody must get Stone(henge)d
At America's Stonehenge, you can snowshoe your way, by candlelight, through thousands of years of archaeological history. But first, you'll have to pass by some alpacas.
When I went to Stonehenge in the UK last year, it was hard to get a picture of just the rocks without some tourist being in your frame. After a couple of minutes waiting in line, I just wanted to be done with it, post the pictures on Facebook, and officially say I'd been there.

Rock and Shock recap 2011
A weekend of music, mayhem, and bodily fluids
At this year's Rock and Shock horror convention, splatter freaks slashed through the DCU Center, filling their bloody burlap sacks with frightful T-shirts, posters for Chopping Mall and Twitch of the Death Nerve, and autographs of Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger), Ace Frehley (KISS frontman), Rowdy Roddy Piper (ex-wrestler), and Gary Busey (maniac).

Voices carry
Marty hears things that aren't there. Doctors say she's schizophrenic. A new movement says she's just human.
She can hear a baby crying. She searches the house, each cluttered room, the closets, under the bed. She checks the cupboards. She checks behind the shower curtains. There is no baby.
