Review: Donkey Punch

Bodies, bodies everywhere

VIDEO: The trailer for Donkey Punch

Three young gals from Leeds on a pleasure trip to Spain hook up with four randy British sailors and head out to the ocean on a borrowed yacht.

The ensemble of little-known British actors is a talented one, and Oliver Blackburn's film is effective for a time in getting right the atmosphere of flirtation, drugs, hook-ups, and saucy girls going wild on vacation.

But when the movie turns violent, after a lethal "donkey punch" to the back of a neck, all the rest is chaos, brutality, ugliness, and silliness, as guns and knives are drawn and bodies, bodies everywhere, pile up at sea.
