The Stool also rises

By ADAM REILLY  |  April 10, 2007

And here’s a third question: can Barstool maintain its delicate tonal balance indefinitely? If the lowbrow content gets too lowbrow, attracting new readers could prove tricky. Last week, for example, a post at BarstoolSports.com featured a letter on Reynolds’s cover shoot that ran in the Heights, BC’s student paper. The author, a BC alum, argued from a feminist perspective; as an aside, she said she’d once been approached by a modeling scout.

Here’s part of Portnoy’s response: “[S]top lying. A model scout never approached you to do modeling. . . . [A]s an FYI, real model scouts don’t go after ugly chicks and clearly that’s what you are.” Easy there. Back to steak and BJs, please.

The Stool also rises
Ummmmm, the tax dollars used to fund unemployment do not come from ordinary citizens. Unemployment tax is fronted by businesses.
