The phenomenal Cuban-born drummer and composer Dafnis Prieto leads up to his appearance at Villa Victoria on Friday the 16th with two nights of shows at Berklee's Café 939 as part of the Marsalis Music-presented "Marsalis Jams" program, in which a heavyweight band play some of their own stuff and then invite willing victims from the Berklee student body to join in. The Dafnis Prieto Si o Si Quartet also includes saxophonist Peter Apfelbaum, pianist Manuel Varela, and bassist Yunior Terry.
