Wildly manic solo episodes veer away from that initial focus, and like Arsenault's score, the dance has too many Armageddon-climaxes. This serious and imaginative work is probably too long by half and needs serious and imaginative editing. The dancers — Cori Kresge, Silas Riener, Melissa Toogood, and Mitchell himself, all Cunningham alums — were hairraising in their control and the intensity of their commitment.
