Forget what it does to your pee: you love asparagus anyway. So why not take a drive to Verrill Farm (11 Wheeler Road, Concord) on May 20 for its Asparagus Festival? From 11 am to 2 pm, join farm owner Steve Verrill and chef Kevin Carey for an asparagus-themed lunch, a cooking demonstration, entertainment, and a trip into the asparagus field. The cost is $20; call 978.369.4494 for reservations, which are requested.
