Roger (Aksel Hennie) is an Oslo yuppie with a gorgeous, blonde wife, a top-drawer job as a corporate headhunter, and a lucrative side employment stealing fancy paintings. The good life explodes when he chooses the wrong victim for a heist: a wealthy man with a scary paramilitary background, and with eyes for Roger's art-dealer spouse. Adapted by Morten Tyldum from a popular Norwegian novel by Jo Nesbø, Headhunters is a slick entertainment with well-orchestrated chases and bloody shootouts, though its characterizations are shallow and sketchy.
