• Congrats yet again to GATEWAY MASTERING's ADAM AYAN. Last week he took home yet another LATIN GRAMMY, for his work on JUAN LUIS GUERRA's Asondegerra. Dude's gonna have to build a bigger mantle.
• Big weekend coming up next: CD release shows for A-FRAME & MIKE CLOUDS's new hip-hop disc; the KENYA HALL BAND's new soul effort; and CLUBBER LANG's new heavy-rock disc. Something for everyone, people.
• A couple weeks later, check out the new disc from JEFF BEAM. Called Venus Flying Trapeze, it'll be 12 tracks of power pop and released with a big gig on December 10. The band will include DAN CAPALDI, SAM PEISNER, TRAVIS KLINE, WILL GATTIS, and KEVIN SALONEN, and hand-made limited-edition hard copies of the album will be available exclusively at the show.
