Get a li'l culture in you on Friday (the 12th) at the RISD Museum when the Phoenix presents the COZY COLLECTIVE, a freeform jazz quintet featuring electro-composer/turntablist Tim O'Keefe. It's a big weekend at the Newport Blues Cafû with a pair of $10 shows benefiting Toys for Tots; harmonicat bluesman JAMES MONTGOMERY plays on Friday; on Saturday (the 13th) the renowned Latin-infused funk collective SANTA MAMBA will tear the place up.
