CelticsWatch: Hm.
For a preview of the Celtics' impending run, this picture says it all, really. Garnett - whose mysterious knee injury will keep him out of the entire postseason - will sit on the bench. Danny Ainge - recovering from a mild heart attck - will be watching from a comfortable place.
A Celtics team without Garnett is still good enough to beat the Bulls on paper. Perhaps the young (but not that young, mind you) Bulls team could try to get inside the veteran Celtics' heads like the Hawks did last year. Perhaps not, though. But it almost feels like a moot issue now. Without Garnett, it's just not terribly likely that this team will make it out of the Eastern Conference, let alone repeat as champs; the Cleveland Cavaliers are simply too good for that. We're trying to summon the energy, here, but we just feel a bit deflated still after yesterday.
