Meet the Mayor: Regeneration Tattoo
Welcome to "Meet the Mayor," a segment where we interview local Foursquare Mayors in their natural habitats.

Alexander Maud
So
you're the mayor of Regeneration. What's up with that?
I've
been going there for a couple of years. I love the person I see to get
tattooed. For a few days, I was there in very quick succession, so I easily
became the mayor.
I
understand you're a hairdresser. Why are you drawn to situations where someone sits in a chair while someone else alters their appearance?
I
guess I'm always drawn to sort of creative things. Not necessarily sitting in a
chair, but being creative, and I'm drawn to creative people.
Wouldn't it be cool if the haircuts you gave were permanent?
Um,
yes and no. Yes, because sometimes when something's fun, it would be great if
it could just stay that way. No, because I wouldn't make any money.
Oh, but you would be the only one with the ability to give permanent haircuts.
Yeah,
but then people wouldn't come back, because they wouldn't need to see me
anymore.
I didn't think of it that way. Maybe they would tell their friends who still had non-permanent haircuts?
If
it became a thing where everyone flew to me for a permanent haircut, I'd be
okay with that.
