We all love das Getränk: It's Oktoberfest season, let's get betrunken!!

There are more than a few things we dig about Bavarian culture. A lot of them sound like bad words (or nasty venereal diseases,) sure, but man are they delicious. Schweinshaxe, Steckerlfisch, any kind of würstl.....we love it all. So, though we're surely bummed to bid summer adieu for another long-ass winter, we can't help but be a little pleased that October is just around the corner. Because it's time once again for Oktoberfest! If there's one thing we like more than a nice, fat würstl, it's a frosty stein of German brew. Or, you know, ten. As do the rest of the drunkards who come together each year to toast German heritage (in our Irish-dominated town) because, hey, any excuse for a pint, are we right? Thus, we've compiled the beer-soaked, sausage fests coming up that are worthy of your fanciest lederhosen. O' zapft is! ("It's tapped!")
