The Economist on Chris Faraone's 99 Nights with the 99 Percent: Best of the Occupy literature

Readers of the Phoenix don't need to be told that CHRIS FARAONE has got #Occupy coverage on lock -- you've been reading his dispatches from #OccupyBoston (and Wall Street, Florida too many more to list . . . ) since the beginning of the movement. Still, we wanted to point out that we're not the only ones who think Faraone's shit is awesome. This week, The Economist surveyed the literature of Occupy both online and off --  "a pair of sporadic print newspapers, a couple of documentary films and at least three books" -- and concluded thusly:

Of these, “99 Nights with the 99 Percent”, a series of vignettes from assorted Occupy encampments by Chris Faraone, a Boston-based journalist, is the best read. Though absolutely pro-Occupy, Mr Faraone retains some critical perspective. He paints a telling picture of the mix of exhilaration, boredom, confusion and absurdity that accompanies the growth of a grassroots movement. He even profiles a con man who scammed Occupy Boston into giving him control of its finances.
