"Jay & Silent Bob Get Old"

At 37 and 41, respectively, Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith are sort of getting up there. So we guess it’s appropriate that their new tour is called Jay & Silent Bob Get Old. But we can’t help but wonder just what that means for the duo. As every townie worth his salt knows, hanging out behind the local burger joint selling skunk weed to high school kids gets a hell of a lot more depressing when your 20s are behind you. Now that Mewes has shed his signature metal-fan hair and Smith is using his vocal chords on an ever-more-regular basis, it seems like Jay and Bob have indeed grown up. But growing up doesn’t mean the fun has to end or you have to stop acting a fool.
