The holidays in a (very sweet) box
By TAMARA WIEDER | November 8, 2006
Beware: reading this column may be detrimental to your waistline. And your abs. And your ass. Because once you start eating the Fudge Bar’s seasonal pumpkin-pie fudge, you might not be able to stop until your entire (pound? Four-pound?) box is empty. And then you’ll be too full for your mother’s turkey and your Aunt Dana’s mashed potatoes, and you know how well that will go over.
So, back to that (okay, nine-pound? Will that be enough for you?) box of fudge. Every piece of the perfectly spiced homemade treat, tasting of cinnamon, ginger, and, of course, pumpkin, is like a super-sweet, creamy slice of pumpkin pie — only better. Because, y’know, it’s fudge. Don’t say we didn’t warn you.
Available through the end of the year for $11/pound at the Fudge Bar, 1219 Hancock Street, Quincy; and for $12/pound at the Fudge Bar, Logan Airport Terminal C, East Boston | 800.97.FUDGE.
