Let’s get one thing straight. Bostonians take brunch very seriously. It’s the one time of the week when drinking before noon is not only acceptable, but encouraged, for one thing. But it’s not all about the breakfast booze, as those who frequent Trina’s Starlite Lounge well know. The retro-themed dinette is a hot spot for hung-over coeds, cozy-looking couples, and families alike. With a reasonably priced menu chock full of hearty breakfast and lunch options to soak up last night’s drinks, Trina’s gets high marks for ambiance (fun!), service (friendly!), and, of course, food (freaking delicious!) Pro tip: try the fried chicken and buttermilk waffles with hot-pepper syrup.
