They have a dozen kinds of raw oysters, and the best fried clams our critic has ever had, and they make decent French fries. That alone would put them in the fish house hall of fame, but in fact there is some nice Italian cuisine with fish as well. You must have raw and fried for appetizers. If raw oysters scare you, have them fried, and the tuna curls. If the skate wing scares you, have the red snapper. Great wines by the glass, but no desserts. A small and crowded place, yet relaxed.
Insider's Tip: Surprise dishes whereby fried oysters meet pickled beef tongue, say, or salt cod joins crisped lamb, get our jaws working furiously.
