A taste of RoccaOctober 28 October 24,

They may not be riding in on a white horse, but the folks at Rocca (500 Harrison Avenue, Boston) are certainly saviors. On October 28, beginning at 10 am, the restaurant is hosting the “Down to the Wire Brunch,” all of the proceeds from which will benefit Community Servings, which has until October 31 to raise the last $150,000 of its $400,000 capital campaign. The money will help the nonprofit pay for its new kitchen and nutrition facility, used to produce free home-delivered meals to critically ill Bostonians and their families and caregivers. The brunch is a $50 donation — and the Kresge Foundation will match it dollar for dollar. Call 617.451.5151 for reservations and information.
